You have defined and established all the borders of the earth [the divisions of land and sea and of the nations; You have made summer and winter (Psalm 74:17 AMP).

God first established borders. He is the One who created them. Borders have always been used as a hedge of protection from invading enemies. They were a way to protect our freedoms. Somehow, the lines have been blurred, and now borders are a significant point of debate. Now, some consider advocating for secure borders and stricter vetting about who is entering the U.S. to be racist and hateful. Open borders have created a problem that is too big for us financially and physically but not too big for God.

• Pray for God to restore order to our borders by closing the current porous borders that allow illegal immigrants as well as numerous criminals and even terrorists to come into our nation undetected (see Isaiah 60:18).

• Pray for protection from criminal assaults and terrorist attacks and pray for individual Americans living near border towns who are fearful for the security of themselves and their families (see Psalm 32:7; 46:1).
