For this reason, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named. (Ephesians 3:14-15).
God commanded Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply. It was the first picture of a family: one man and woman joined by a marital covenant, producing godly offspring. Someone recently said that family was created to fulfill the Great Commission. How far we have fallen from this. Traditional families are fewer and fewer, while the concept of family has been completely redefined. Parents are being non-gendered. Same-sex couples are adopting via IVF and surrogacy. A growing percentage of children are growing up in unstable situations. These changes have weakened the foundations of our society. The family was created to be a central part of God’s plan. It’s no wonder the enemy is out to destroy families.
