Pray for us, for we are confident that we have a good conscience in all things, desiring to live honorably (Hebrews 13:18).
We increasingly see men and women of God exposed for sinful behaviors. This hurts the Church, which looks to its leaders as pillars. It also angers the lost, who see and use it as a reason to condemn all churches and Christians. Either way, someone gets hurt, not to mention the victims involved. Throughout the epistles, Paul is seen asking the churches for prayer. Aside from attacks against them and their families, Christian leaders face more challenges than we can know. Instead of constant praise that leads to idolatry, let’s lift constant prayers for those in positions of spiritual authority.
