So, God created man in his own image; in the image of God, he created him; male and female, he created them (Genesis 1:27 ESV).

At the root of the gender issues we are seeing in our nation is a lack of identity. These children who identify as whatever they desire have a God-shaped void in their hearts. They don’t know Father God’s unconditional love or that they were created in His image with a plan and purpose. Somewhere along the line, they believed the lie they were unacceptable. We know that comes from the father of lies, Satan. Though it looks like we are losing this battle, a growing number of former transgenders are bravely opposing this evil trend. Lord, you can do anything, so we intercede for our sons and daughters. We will never stop fighting for them.

• Ask God to show you His heart for the transgender community and lead your prayer times, praying for any specific persons you know caught up in this awful deception and perversion.

• Pray for hearts to be healed and a fresh revelation of sonship and purpose (see Ephesians 2:10).

• Pray for members of the LGBTQ community to repent and turn to Jesus Christ. God can use people who have come out of this lifestyle and create gospel preachers to win others in that community (Romans 8:28).
